My name is Maria and I am the founder of Reiki Light. I am a fully qualified and insured reiki practitioner and I am part of UK Reiki Federation (UKRF), the largest Reiki professional organisation in the UK.
My Story
I discovered Reiki by chance and immediately felt a strong connection to it. After conducting research online, I realised that I needed to look deeper into this practice and decided to embark on a journey of healing, spiritual awakening, and self-discovery, as guided by my Reiki teacher, Justine.
Upon completing my first Reiki course and personally experiencing its transformative effects, I made the decision to continue studying and practicing Reiki. My intention is to not only facilitate my own well-being but also to assist others in improving their lives through this powerful modality.
Having worked in the education sector for over 15 years, I have developed a profound sense of empathy and understanding for people, not just children. With Reiki, I hope to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can reduce stress, and experience deep relaxation, feeling empowered to assist and support their own healing.
